Evacuation Order issued for northeast shore of Elwin Lake

PRINCE GEORGE — As wildfires continue to spread throughout parts of the province, another evacuation order has been issued by the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako.
In a news release, the district says the order is issued for all lands and properties on the northeast shore of Elwin Lake, 20 kilometers east of Houston.
Those who need transportation assistance from the area are advised to call the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako at 250-692-1553.
