Learning how to play the harp

The harp is an intimidating instrument, not because of its sound, but mainly because they are extremely large. We managed to fit one into our CKPG Today studio so Shoshannah Godber could teach us how to play a familiar tune.

The Prince George Conservatory of Music is hosting a harp workshop and concert this weekend as Stephanie Claussen arrives to the city performing Sunday August 12th at 7 pm at the Knox Performance Venue. Join her as she shares a program of traditional Scottish and Irish tunes, plus a few surprises!

The workshop runs prior to the concert from 1-4 pm at the PG Conservatory for Music. You can sign up through the local conservatory website.

Tickets for the concert are available at the door with no set amount simply pay-what-you-can.
