Cougar named WHL Rookie of the Week for the third time this season

PRINCE GEORGE — Seventeen-year-old Terik Parascak has been named the WHL Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.

The 5-foot-11, 179-pound right winger from Lethbridge Alberta had six points in two games and is now third in WHL scoring with 15 goals and 25 points.

Parascak is currently riding a three-game point streak, having registered seven points (3G-4A) since Friday, October 13.

On five occasions this season, Parascak has produced three or more points in a game.

Originally selected by the Prince George Cougars in the fourth round (76th overall) of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, Parascak has 25 points (15G-10A) in 16 WHL Regular Season appearances. He made his WHL debut in 2022-23, skating in four contests with the Cougars.
