PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Folkfest Society have partnered with Mad Loon Productions for two late night shows on the final evenings of the festival. The late shows will be held on February 9 and 10, at the Prince George Legion, after the Mainstage performances at Knox Performance Centre. Doors for the late shows will open at 10:00 p.m. and performance will start at 10:30 p.m.

The first ever Coldsnap late show on February 9,will feature BIllie Zizi getting us in the ” groove with a groundswell of wild sonic abandon and textural guitar adventures.” The musical journey will be followed by the Reviberators, and finally ending on the psychedelic folk instrumentals of Folky Strum Strum.

February 10, will be a wrap party on the whole festival featuring some of Northern B.C.’s best musicians. The Coastal Drifter, “Rez” rockers from ketselas, will get the party started, followed by Colsnap Alumn Elijah Quinn and his high-energy eclectic setlist.

If you want to see two shows in one night Coldsnap is offering a bundle deal for either Friday, February 9 (Dance Dance Dance at Knox Performance Centre and Late Night Psych at the PG Legion for $45) or Saturday, February 10 (Cultural Confluence at Knox Performance Centre and Coldsnap Wrap Party at the PG Legion for $45). These bundles could make excellent gifts or stocking stuffers for the live music fans on your list.
