Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Bear Lake shooting
BEAR LAKE — One man has been arrested following a weekend shooting in Bear Lake.
Prince George RCMP say police were notified of the shooting on the 400-block of Cinnamon Street at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
“When police officers arrived at the home they found one man suffering from a life-threatening gun shot wound. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries,” says Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
“Later that evening, investigators identified the suspect in this investigation as 31-year-old Prince George resident, Michael Dillon Solmundson. Police officers arrested Mr. Solmundson and held him in custody until he could attend court.”
