Share your thoughts with the provincial government regarding the environment
PRINCE GEORGE – Conservation North is hosting a free information session on January 19 at the Omineca Arts Centre regarding the provincial government’s Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Framework. Starting at 7:00 p.m., the night will not only provide information, but also allow you to share your thoughts, which will go directly to the provincial government.
Conservation North says this is a rare chance to share your thoughts with the government, and says you should take this opportunity because the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Framework is believed to heavily impact future government legislation too. If you’re a hunter, hiker, forager, or simply someone who likes the outdoors, it would be worth your time to stop by.
“A lot of the feedback they’re going to get might be from the South coast. We need to actually participate in these processes here and in north central B.C. It’s really important that the B.C. government hear from us about what we think should happen to protect biodiversity and ecosystem health in our region and across the province,” said Conservation North Director Michelle Connolly.
