Morning blaze destroys two trailers
PRINCE GEORGEāOn Wednesday morning at 2:15, Prince George Fire Rescue attended a single wide trailer fire on the 2100 block of Norwood Street. Two halls responded with four apparatus and eleven suppression personnel.
Upon arrival crews founds the fire had spread to a neighbouring fifth wheel trailer that had been stored between the two units.
Fortunately, no one was injured as the unit was empty at the time. However, damage was estimated to be between $30,000 to $40,000. Both the trailer and fifth wheel were completely lost.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
