PRINCE GEORGE – The local branch of the SPCA has had a busy year, as was recently reported to Council. In fact, it cared for 1,447 animals in the past year, 770 of which were strays.

But that doesn’t mean it can take its foot off the gas in its mandate to protect and enhance the quality of life for animals of all kinds.

“Even where there are communities where we don’t have a physical presence, we’re still there to provide that support through our animal protection team and other programs and services,” explains Jamey Blair, Senior Manager for the North Cariboo SPCA.
