Structure fire on Fern Crescent

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 100 block of Fern Crescent Tuesday morning.

Crews from three fire halls responded at approximately 9:30 a.m. to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof on the back side of the home.

Crews were able to quicky contain the fire in the attic. Prince George Fire Rescue estimates damages at $100,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

There were no injuries.
