Highway 16 East to reopen Friday morning

ROBSON VALLEY — Highway 16 East will fully reopen to regular traffic Friday starting at 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Pacific Time daily.

When the highway reopens 16 kilometres east of Tete Jaune Cache, Drive BC says that there will be limited visibility and stopping will not be permitted.

Drive BC adds that there are no services after Mt. Robson and the highway may close on short notice.

The highway will also reopen on the Alberta side as well. Jasper National Park warns stopping will not be permitted in the park and there will be no washrooms or refuelling options.
