Evacuation alert rescinded for Laidman Lake wildfire

NORTHERN, B.C. — The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako has rescinded the evacuation alert issued on July 25 for the Laidman Lake wildfire.

The Laidman Lake fire is over 5,400 hectares in size and was discovered on July 19.

The lightning caused fire is now classified as “being held.”
