Cascades topple Timberwolves in Abbotsford

The UNBC Timberwolves opened their 2024 Canada West men’s soccer schedule with a loss on Friday (Aug. 23) in Abbotsford.

Prince George product Connor Lewis was the only goal scorer for UNBC, which fell 4-1 to the Fraser Valley Cascades.

Third-year forward Mateo Brazinha paced the Cascades with a hat-trick and four points.

The clubs will square off again on Sunday (Aug. 25) in the Fraser Valley.
