Foam, soft plastics and glass now accepted at local recycling sites
PRINCE GEORGE – After a three-month pause, the regional district has teamed up with Recycle BC and re-opened three transfer stations. For the first time, the stations are capable of accepting various materials.
Foam, Soft plastics, and glass have now been added to the list of recyclable materials. There were limited places where residents could take foam and soft plastics, but opening these transfer stations created more options.
According to the general manager of Environment Service, Regional District Fraser Fort George Laura Zapotichny, many recycled products are stored within the province.
