Spruce Kings announce signing

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have added a forward to their roster.
The Kings have signed 5’11, 181 pound Ethan Montroy (05). Montroy scored 26 goals and added 37 assists for the Cornwall Colts of the Central Canadian Hockey League last season. In five games this year, he had five goals and three assists.
The native of Ottawa, Ontario has a total of 86 points in 65 games in the CCHL, while also adding 4 goals and 3 assists in 46 OHL games for the Soo Greyhounds from 2021-2023.
“Ethan is a skilled player who plays the game hard in all areas. We have had our eye on him for some time now. We’re thrilled to add him to our team as he will add an element to our forward group that will make us better,” says General Manager Mike Hawes.
