Cougars explode for 4 goals in third period to beat Rockets

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars improved their record to 3-2 following a 5-2 win over the Rockets in Kelowna Wednesday night.

Terik Parascak and Riley Heidt returned to the lineup to both pick up three points in the victory. Parascak had two goals and an assist while Heidt had a goal and two assists.

The Cougars trailed 2-1 going into the third period but they stormed back for the win. Carlin Dezainde and Matteo Danis had the other Cougars goals while Joshua Ravensbergen blocked 27 shots.

The announced attendance in Kelowna was 3,427. The Cougars are back on the ice Friday night in Seattle for a tilt versus the Thunderbirds.
