Nechako Lakes Green candidate called out for 9/11 posts on social media

BURNS LAKE — The BC Green Party candidate in Nechako Lakes has been called out for posts made on social media platform X.

Back in 2014, Douglas Gook seemed to claim that 9/11 was an inside job.

CKPG has reached out to Gook and the Green Party but have not yet received an official response.

NDP candidate in Nechako Lakes, Murphy Abraham, issued a statement that said in part that his party is “focused on making life better for people – and not on conspiracy theories that we are seeing from the BC Conservatives and the Green Party. The voters of Nechako Lakes deserve a candidate who is on their side, not a candidate who is lost in a dark web of conspiracy theories.”
