PG Electric Vehicle Association awaiting results of first global survey of EV owners

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Electric Vehicle Association is awaiting the results of the first-ever global survey of electric vehicle owners at 10:00 a.m. this Tuesday, Dec. 10.

The Global EV Alliance (GEVA) – a network of 64 EV associations in 38 countries that representis over 30,000 drivers – conducted the survey. It says it got responses from 23,000 EV drivers across 18 different countries.

The results will feature responses to questions like what motivated people to buy an electric vehicle and what some of the pros and cons of owning one are.

The survey will also gauge if there are EV owners who plan to go back to a vehicle that is powered by a fossil fuel.

“GEVA invites everyone to join our Global Webinar – be among the first to learn the results of the survey, hear from GEVA member associations and participate in our Q&A session,” a statement said.
