Fort St James RCMP thank community for help in arresting wanted man

FORT ST JAMES — Mounties in Fort St James say community members played a key role in the arrest of a man wanted for assault.

RCMP say Darren A’Huille was arrested on Monday after he was seen entering an undisclosed residence in the community.

Police say A’Huille has a lengthy violent criminal record so multiple officers were called to the scene.

A’Huille is also a suspect in numerous other investigations in the area and additional charges are expected to be laid. Police are currently investigating an armed robbery in which he is a suspect.

A’Huille is being held in custody waiting for a court appearance. Mounties are thanking the public for their help in the case.
