UNBC men record first-ever 3-0 start in Canada West soccer
LANGLEY, B.C. — Rookie striker Josh Jordan scored twice to lead the UNBC men’s soccer team to its first-ever 3-0 start in Canada West program history.
Friday night in Langley, the TWolves beat the Trinity Western Spartans 3-2, despite trailing by a goal on two different occasions before the hour mark. Jordan’s game winner came in the 68th minute and Steve Simonson’s side held on to pick up another three points.
The UNBC men will try to complete the weekend sweep against the Spartans this evening. They’re scheduled to kickoff at 7:15 p.m.
Over in women’s soccer action, UNBC is still searching for its first win of the year.
