Prince George RCMP seek person of interest in homicide investigation
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in relation to a homicide investigation.
The homicide occurred last month on the 1900-block of Spruce Street. Investigators arrived on scene at around 3:30 a.m. on September 16 to find one person deceased and a second person suffering from gunshot wounds. Multiple people in the residence were detained during the investigation and were subsequently released without charge.
“Police are currently looking for help in identifying a person of interest in the investigation, who was captured by CCTV in the area during the time of the homicide. If anyone knows who this person is or where they are staying, we encourage them to call our non-emergency line or to contact Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers with the information,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.
To help identify the individual, investigators are releasing a video of the man captured on CCTV. The man can be seen wearing a unique, beige coloured, Burberry style track suit and white and black flip flops.
