Behind the forecast with Environment Canada and how radar impacts it

The weather in northern British Columbia can be hard to predict but recent upgrades in 2022 at the Baldy Hughes doppler radar station have given forecasters better tools to understand what’s going on up in the atmosphere when it comes to wind warnings, precipitation, and even bird migration!
