WENATCHEE, WA — The Prince George Cougars wrapped up a six-game road trip with a 2-1 defeat to the Wenatchee Wild Saturday (Nov. 8) night.

Aidan Foster scored the Cougars’ only goal in the third period as they finished their six game trip with three wins and three losses.

After a scoreless first period, Zane Saab and Aiden Grossklaus struck less than three minutes apart to put Wenatchee up 2-0 after 40 minutes at the Town Toyota Center. Foster responded with the only goal in the third – scored on the power play – as Bauer Dumanski’s one-timer deflected off him and past Cal Conway in the Wild net.

Conway finished with 36 saves to earn the win, while Joshua Ravensbergen stopped 38 of 40 in a losing effort.

Prince Geroge remains second in the Western Conference with an 11-7 record, good for 22 points from 18 games. Wenatchee at 5-8-1-1 is in last place in the conference with 12 points from 15 games.

The Cougars return to the CN Centre for a pair of games against the Victoria Royals this Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 11 and 12. Tuesday’s game on Remembrance is a 2:00 p.m. matinee, while Wednesday’s game is set for 7:00 p.m.
