Snowfall warning issues for Pine Pass-area

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Pine Pass area, with as much as 15 centimetres expected by Monday (Nov. 17).

According to the weather agency, snowfall amounts are expected to ease later this evening and overnight.

“A frontal system will bring snow heavy at times,” the warning said. “Snowfall amounts of 15 cm are expected by Monday morning.”

As of publishing, a similar warning is also in place for the Willison region, with 15 cm of snow possible. The Fort Nelson area is also under a snowfall warning with 10 cm expected in that part of B.C., and 15 cm over Highway 77.
