PRINCE GEORGE –This week, the Prince George community mourns the loss of a valued resident whose generosity and philanthropic spirit left a lasting impact.

Curt Garland, who passed away at 88, was born in Prince George and ran several businesses, most notably Lomak Bulk Carriers.

According to the Prince George Salvation Army, Garland’s donation over ten years ago, along with his ongoing support, helped establish a center that continually improves the lives of individuals seeking assistance.
