From athlete to researcher: Joel Ewert studies the impact of parasports on children with cerebral palsy

UNBC alumnus Joel Ewert is turning years of personal experience in adaptive sport into research that could help improve the lives of young athletes with disabilities. Now a second‑year student in the UBC Northern Medical Program, Ewert has co‑authored his first academic paper exploring how parasports benefit children with cerebral palsy.
