How Dr. Bill Poser is saving Carrier dialects for future generations

For more than three decades, Prince George–based linguist Dr. William (Bill) Poser has dedicated his career to preserving the Carrier language. Dr. Poser’s work was recently recognized with a 2026 Jeanne Clarke History Award from the Prince George Public Library. You can find the active dictionary here.
