Jedd Hagreen Ladeur

With heavy hearts we announce the death of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Although Jedd’s death was unexpected he lived with an addiction which also contributed to severe respiratory conditions. We find comfort knowing that, in his final years, he created a peaceful, cozy home for himself and his sweet dog, Monkey. Moving back to Prince George four years ago was an important step toward recovery, allowing him to give and receive love, support, and connection with family. However, as Fredrik Backman writes, “You can’t love someone out of addiction; all of the oceans are the tears of those who have tried.”
Jedd was highly intelligent and curious, with special interests in archaeology, ancient civilizations, and natural phenomena. Trained as a Master Gardener, he especially enjoyed tending his flowers and favourite berry plants in the quiet of early evenings. He had loved motorcycles since childhood, owned several over the years, and was recently rebuilding a dirt bike.
Jedd was curious, affectionate, funny, artistic, and generous. His absence leaves a tremendous void in our lives.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please honour Jedd’s memory by performing an act of kindness for someone in person.
