Emergency department in 100 Mile to close for most of Monday
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — For the 38th time in 2026, the emergency department at 100 Mile District General Hospital will be temporarily closed.
Interior Health says emergency services in 100 Mile House will be unavailable Monday (Aug. 24) from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Residents in the 100 Mile area in need of emergency care are asked to travel nearly an hour away to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake during the 13-hour closure
In a news release issued Sunday afternoon, Interior Health says all other inpatient services at 100 Mile District General Hospital will continue.
