PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George City Councillor Cori Ramsay is seeking a third term on city council, launching a re-election campaign focused on responsible growth, infrastructure investment, and financial resilience.
Ramsay, first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, announced her candidacy today, saying the next four years will be critical in shaping the future of Prince George as the city continues to grow and faces a range of economic and social challenges.
“Serving the residents of Prince George has been one of the greatest privileges of my life,” Ramsay said in a statement. “Meaningful progress doesn’t happen through slogans or quick fixes. It takes hard work, collaboration, careful planning, and a willingness to make difficult decisions in the public interest.”
During her eight years on council, Ramsay has served on numerous committees and boards dealing with issues including finance, accessibility, emergency management, poverty reduction, environmental stewardship, arts and culture, reconciliation, and health care. Beyond the local level, she has represented northern communities through the North Central Local Government Association, served on the executive of the Union of BC Municipalities, and currently serves as UBCM president.
