Vanderhoof RCMP seek public’s help identifying shoplifting suspect

VANDERHOOF — Vanderhoof RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman suspected of shoplifting from a local business last month.

Police say the incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on August 24 at a retail store located in the 100-block of Stewart Street East. Investigators believe the woman took merchandise from the business before leaving the area.

According to RCMP, the suspect was wearing a grey shirt and black pants at the time of the alleged theft. She is also described as having blonde hair.

To help identify the woman, police have released a photograph obtained from the store’s CCTV system.
