PRINCE GEORGE — A lifelong resident of Northern British Columbia is stepping into provincial politics under the OneBC banner.
Mitchell Lukoni has been announced as the OneBC candidate for Prince George-Valemount, bringing with him a background in business strategy, policy development, communications, and community service.
Born and raised in Prince George, Lukoni has spent his working life in Northern British Columbia. He holds a Bachelor of General Studies from Athabasca University, with concentrations in psychology and political philosophy.
In addition to his professional work, Lukoni has been active in the community through volunteer roles. He previously served as a student senator for the University of Northern British Columbia’s Faculty of Science and Engineering and has volunteered with the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society, supporting child and family grief programs.
