More Than 500 Evacuees Registered

PRINCE GEORGE –  Prince George has seen more than 500 evacuees from both the Cariboo and the Northwest as of Tuesday night. As a result, the City is extending the hours of the Emergency Reception Centre at the CN Centre and will be open through the weekend from 8 am to 11 pm.

Evacuees are being provided free transit and access to the Four Seasons Leisure Pool and Aquatic Centre. Routes are available at the CN Centre or online at BC Transit. 

Any residents interested in volunteering are asked to register with Volunteer Prince George.

At this time, the City is not seeking any donations.
