Stolen Vehicle Suspect Arrested

PRINCE GEORGE – A 30-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly stealing a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup early that morning. Local RCMP received a stolen vehicle report from the 1800 block of Oak Street. Later in the evening, the pickup was seen driving near the intersection of Highway 97 and Chief Lake Road in the Hart area, and then later on North Kelly Road before being stopped. The woman tried to flee the scene on foot before she was taken into custody and the vehicle was recovered by police. She appears in court on Wednesday. The woman is well known to police for similar offences. The investigation is ongoing.
