Victoria Street Fire

PRINCE GEORGE – The RCMP and local fire department investigating a three-alarm fire this morning at a duplex on Victoria street.

Crews were called around 6:20 this morning to 2260 Victoria, and arrived to find flames showing from the rear windows of the home.  The occupants of the home managed to escape to safety and were not injured.

Fire crews used hand lines to put the blaze out quickly.

The building is extensively damaged with the loss pegged around $250,000.  The investigation is ongoing.
