Collision Closes Highway 97 North of Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: Drive BC now estimates the highway will reopen at 11 a.m. The collision involved two logging trucks, one which was loaded.
Earlier: Motorists beware: a head-on collision involving a logging truck and a transport truck has closed Highway 97 North near the Wright Creek Bridge.
The Prince George RCMP received the report just after 6 this morning and note the closure is likely to stay in place until 9:30 a.m. as crews clear away the severely damaged trucks and trailer.
No serious injuries have been reported. No word yet on what caused the crash.
