Nomination Packages Available Friday For PG

PRINCE GEORGE — Are you thinking about running for Prince George City Council in the upcoming October 2018 election? Starting Friday, nomination packages will be available for pick up at the fifth floor of City Hall. You can also download the package online on the City website.

The contents of the packages include qualifications for office, important dates, nomination forms and documents, advertising and campaign signage regulations and resources related to the Council Code of Conduct and relevant bylaws. 

Nomination period starts at 9 am on September 4th and closes at 4 pm on September 14th. The deadline to withdraw is September 21st and following that is the campaign period beginning September 22nd. Voting day is October 20th.
