About the CKPG Today show
The CKPG Today show celebrates the people, stories, and spirit of Prince George and northern BC with heart, humour and hometown pride. We strive to highlight local people with their local stories. We shine a spotlight on what makes our region unique, from local characters to hidden gems, delivering authentic and engaging features. Viewers can expect to see everything from local entertainment highlights to lifestyle tips, delivered in a lighthearted 30 minutes every weekday.
The CKPG Today Show first arrived on northern BC screens in October 2021. Since then, it has grown into a community favourite source for everything local.
In 2024, CKPG Today aired an impressive 248 shows with 749 unique individual segments.
Meet the team

Caden Fanshaw
Caden Fanshaw is the host of CKPG Today on CKPG-TV, bringing fun and engaging storytelling to screens in Prince George and northern BC.
Before stepping into his current role in July 2023, he honed his craft spending three years as a news reporter and anchor with CKPG News and hosting weekends on 101.3 The River. A proud graduate of BCIT’s Broadcast and Online Journalism program, Caden combines journalistic insight with community spirit.
Known affectionately as “Prince George’s boyfriend,” Caden was born and raised in Prince George and covers everything from community events and entertainment to keeping tabs on any missing local emus.
Off camera, Caden keeps busy through roles with BC Hockey and attending local events, balancing his passion for storytelling and the community with a love for local sports.
Caden is on a mission to celebrate the people, places, and peculiarities of Prince George and Northern BC, because let’s be honest, there’s never a dull moment around here.

Zach Dallas
Zach Dallas is the co-producer and videographer for CKPG Today. After spending nearly six years on the CKPG News team as a videographer, he joined the CKPG Today Show team in mid-2021 to help design and build the show from the ground up.
Affectionately known as Producer Zach, he enjoys capturing captivating video to highlight the stories of local people and places around Prince George and neighbouring communities.
Before arriving in Prince George in 2015, Zach completed his broadcast training at BCIT and an undergraduate degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University. Zach came to Prince George on the classic two-year plan. He now lives just north of Prince George with his wife and two children and can often be found with his still camera capturing the natural beauty of the region.
