CNC Employees “Shave it for Another Day”

PRINCE GEORGE – Shaving your head can be a big commitment, but for one local woman, it came in memory of those she has lost to cancer.
CNC employees offered up their ponytails, beards and heads during the annual “Shave it for Another Day” event. This year, Elena Thomas made a big commitment after growing her hair for five years.
Thomas shaved her head in memory of her brother in law who recently passed away from cancer and her cousin’s husband who has been recently diagnosed.
In total over $5,000 was raised with another $650 for Wigs for Kids.
