PRINCE GEORGE- Chief Dominic Frederick cut the ribbon this morning for Uda dune Baiyoh, the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations newest gathering place. The building will be the new site of events for members, but it’s also open to the community. Uda dune Baiyoh, or House of Ancestors, showcases Lheidli T’enneh history, culture, and tradition. The building features an elders lounge, commercial kitchen, and a large banquet hall designed to fit 400 people. It will be available for bookings by August. It is located on the corner of 3rd and Vancouver.
