Lakes District To See Improved Winter Driving Conditions

BURNS LAKE- Lakes District Maintenance Ltd. has been awarded a ten-year contract to ensure better highway conditions during the winter. The contract covers provincial roadways in Burns Lake, Houston, Granisle, Grassy Plains, Decker Lake, and Topley. The Ministry of Transportation says the new contract will require higher standards and a more proactive approach when severe weather events take place.
