Aboriginal Housing At CNC “A While Off”

PRINCE GEORGE – Council got an update from the College of New Caledonia on the work that is being undertaken on an Aboriginal Housing plan.

In May, the Province committed $2.6 million to the project, which will help Aboriginal students from the regions transition into post-secondary education.

CNC President, Dr. Henry Reiser told Council the project is in the planning stage with area First Nations.

“It could be finished by next winter,” he said. “We’re a while off.”
