CNC Set To Launch ‘Groundbreaking’ Program

PRINCE GEORGE — It’s the first of its kind north of Burnaby and it’s only the second in the province.

The College of New Caledonia is preparing to welcome the first students of its sonography program. 

Students will use the most up to date and high tech equipment over their 24-month course which will allow them to get a dual credit in both cardiac and general sonography.

The hope is that offering the program in the Northern Health region will inspire grads to stay local to fill job vacancies which will benefit wait times in area hospitals.

Students will be admitted into the program each January.
