New Student Supports At CNC

PRINCE GEORGE –  A new 24-hour, full-service student assistance program has now been established at the College of New Caledonia. It is called LifeLine and it helps students find a healthy balance between school, work and home.

“Personal problems, challenges and stressors can have a significant impact on a student’s performance at school,” said Harman Dandiwal, CNC Students’ Union Organizer. “Student LifeLine will address the after-hour need for support services and creates a healthy, supportive environment for all students across CNC’s campuses.”

The introduction of Life Line is a result of a list of grievances brought to administration’s attention last summer, which included things like over-enrolment in some programs, recruitment concerns and agent reporting and the lack of support staff.
