PRINCE GEORGE- A rally to support Women’s Marches around the globe took place in Prince George this afternoon. A handful of speakers were on hand to talk about women’s rights, violence against women, and other feminist issues. The first march took place in Washington DC to protest President Trump’s election in 2016. Despite the brisk weather supporters dressed warm and brought signs and posters. The event was the third annual Prince George Women’s March and stands in solidarity with the Women’s Marches taking place around the world.
