CNC scrub sale

PRINCE GEORGE — About 250 students per semester, across multiple programs, benefit from CNC’s biannual scrub drive.

Gently-used uniforms are collected throughout the community and are sold for five dollars each, with the money going into the Making a Difference bursary. Five health-science students are awarded 250 dollars which, along with the discount scrubs, makes it a win-win scenario.

Students will need multiple sets of scrubs over the course of their CNC career, which can add up, and the scrubs available during this drive can be bought for a fraction of the price.

To keep the program going, students who no longer need the scrubs are asked to put them back into the sale to pay it forward. Various groups around Prince George also chip in, along with other places within Northern Health.
