
Skeena-Bulkley Valley has been represented in the House of Commons since 2004 and has always been represented by the NDP. Nathan Cullen held the riding from 2005 until 2019. Taylor Bachrach has held the riding from 2019 until now. The riding includes the communities of Kitimat, Terrace, Smithers, Houston and Burns Lake. Taylor Bachrach won the riding by about 1,400 votes in the 2021 federal election. The Conservative Party has always finished second in this riding.
