Gregory Raymond Carman

This story began in Nelson with a mischievous boy,

But the real story commenced in the town of Pine Point.

Where still, the 70s, are alive to this day,

A bike, a man, rock and roll, the highway.

Along the Mackenzie with a thick forest line,

The echo of a Harley, will forever ride.

Here he met her, and Graham came then,

The next in line, of spectacular men.

How could they make a more beautiful world?

By welcoming Kimberly, a beautiful girl.

A home in Sparwood, then in Calgary,

Where there they welcomed their T.L.C.

This chapter closed, his branch had bloomed,

But our hero arose from out of the gloom.

Other women proved that love comes and goes,

And from those experiences our hero arose.

The nomad in him took him to parts out west,

Where he settled in Prince George, the place he fit best.

It was here he began, to stretch out his wings

Travelling to places, and seeing new things.

His first ever voyage he flew with his son,

Who sadly, was taken for us far too young.

Then with his daughters new places to be,

France, China, Mexico, and the Irish Sea.

We wish him a peaceful voyage, on this journey so far,

Our Dad, the hero, a bright shining star.

Always a mark, on any stranger or friend,

He did it his way until the very end.

In loving memory, for all the lives he touched, from all of us, he will be missed so much.
