Robert Walter Doyer

1956-2020

With heavy hearts we say goodbye.

Bob passed away suddenly on October 2nd at the UNHBC hospital with Patricia and Jeanette at his side.

He is survived by his daughter Jeanette (husband Ben and their daughter Olivia) and his sisters Gloria (Bill), Marion (Mark), Arlene, and brother Ron.

Bob grew up in the Prince George area and made it his home for his entire life. He enjoyed living out on his property and being surrounded by the peace and quiet that country living brings. Bob enjoyed playing chess, watching television and buildings things with his hands. Bob’s ultimate love of his life was being a carpenter. He started working in the trade at the age of 16 and worked until 2010 when he had to step away because of his health. He worked on a lot of commercial and residential homes in Prince George and in the north during his career and he always enjoyed talking about the buildings that he worked on.

Thank you to all the staff at UNHBC for caring for him. Special thanks to Dr Fraser and the other doctors who cared for Bob over the years and for being there for him.
