It is with the heaviest of hearts that our family announces the passing of Victor Dokuchie at the age of 85. Victor loved his family dearly and is survived by children Maxine (John), Dianne, Dawn (Jack), Thane (Lisa) and Adam (Joeleane); grandchildren Shawn, Tabitha, Andrea, Amanda, Chandler, Madison, Tinayah, Joshua, Tristan, Tanisha and Jerret and their spouses; great granddaughters Alexis, Brea, Skylar, Ralya Sol and Isabelle; siblings Millie, Julie and Gerald and many other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Joan and wife Gloria, son Jonathan, his parents Maxsim and Nelly and siblings Lucy, Jenny, Alex, Sirhey, Andrew, Harry, Joe, Walter and Mike. Born in Sundown, Manitoba he worked as a millwright in Kenora, Ontario until his move to Prince George, BC in the mid 1970’s where he bought a skidder and had a successful career in the logging industry. He was passionate about his work and liked nothing more than spending time with family and friends and he will be sadly missed. A service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Prince George Funeral Home at 1014 Douglas St., Prince George followed by a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of choice.
