Wanted man known to frequent Prince George

BURNS LAKE – Mounties are asking for the public’s help in finding Gary Alec Junior who is wanted for various offences. Those include sexual assault, assault, break and enter, uttering threats, willfully resisting/obstructing a peace officer and multiple counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

He’s described as an Indigenous male, 5 foot 8 inches tall, 181 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

RCMP believe Alec Junior travels to Houston and Prince George from Burns Lake on a semi-regular basis. They add that there could be people helping him avoid police.

Mounties say they have had no interaction with him since September 2018.
